ABOUT: Anonymity is at the core of our traditions and is of particular concern to some members of S.L.A.A. This pamphlet lays out S.L.A.A.’s Conference-approved recommendations for how to handle the delicate issue of interacting with the outside world or digital and print media.

When dealing with media attention or approaching outside organisations who might help deliver information to the public about the fellowship, the importance of anonymity is matched only by the importance of S.L.A.A. unity. Members are encouraged to seek harmony, acting on group-conscience, and declining to get involved with public controversies and debates. This way, the fellowship of S.L.A.A. can continue to keep its members safe from the perils of facing sex and love addiction alone.
