This pamphlet provides the guidance for identify, understanding, and identifying a fellow’s personal pattern of addictive behaviors. One’s own addictive behaviors are then identified as “bottom lines” that define that individual's sobriety. Accessory behaviours, also considered middle lines, are discussed as precursors or triggers to acting out. THe document highlights adding positive and fulfilling activities (top lines) to replace addictive behaviors. This framework emphasized the importance of self-awareness, boundary setting, and reliance on a higher power for sobriety one day at a time
